Paul Moore is the regional chief executive officer for Humana’s Western Region overseeing the management, development and strategic planning of the company’s commercial, consumer-choice, self-insured and specialty benefits health products. Mr. Moore’s Western Region service area includes the Pacific Southwest, Pacific Northwest, Arizona, the Great Plains and Nevada.

 

Mr. Moore previously served as senior vice president of sales and distribution for KMG America Corporation, a specialty benefits insurance company acquired by Humana in November 2007. Mr. Moore, a member of the Corporate Management Committee, was responsible for sales management, overseeing both the new KMG America distribution and specialty worksite distribution channels.

 

Prior to joining KMG America in December 2004, Mr. Moore worked for ING as a regional vice president in charge of its eight-state southwest hub. Previously, he served as a regional manager for ReliaStar’s Southern California regional office, and earlier as an assistant regional manager in ReliaStar’s San Jose regional office. Mr. Moore started his career as a group sales representative at MetLife. He has been a member of the insurance community since 1985.

 

Mr. Moore received a bachelor’s degree in managerial economics/finance from The University of California, Davis.
