Christopher Khoury*
Christopher Khoury is a consultant in the Washington, D.C. office for Gallup and heads research efforts for its healthcare practice. He works with a variety of hospital provider and healthcare organizations helping them drive their patient experience performance, understand their brand and community image, and align their physician and employee strategies. Christopher has also worked with major healthcare nonprofits and government agencies focused on healthcare quality, access and delivery.
Prior to Gallup, Christopher worked as a data manager at The Ohio State University Medical Center within the department of medicine. At the medical center, he performed mining of patient outcomes data, designed surveys for resident physicians, and consulted on interventions for performance improvement. He also traveled with a group of MBA students and faculty to Bolivia to consult with indigenous people on entrepreneurial projects that helped them escape the cycle of poverty. Christopher spent four years as a product development engineer at Nanosphere Inc. He managed contract R&D programs supporting the first nanotechnology-enabled medical diagnostics product on the market. His key contributions to the firm’s products resulted in patents, FDA approval, and an IPO on the NASDAQ.
Christopher holds three patents and is author on 16 publications. He has presented on diverse topics in management, technology, and the arts. He has presented at numerous technology and healthcare conferences on diverse topics including global medical travel, national competitive advantage, and biotechnology.
Prior to joining Gallup, Christopher earned an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business magna cum laude (Weidler Scholar). Christopher received his B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and holds an M.S. in biomedical engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
